Our gugel was inspired by the gugel of a medieval beekeeper illustration. While tightly fitting over the shoulders and closed at the neck via two straps, the gugel sits perfectly on the shoulders and torso and does not slip. The head itself is well protected with the headpiece which can be rolled out to the front in cold weather. In addition, the gugel is so tight around the head that it even allows you to wear a hat.
